We collect information you provide directly (name, email, professional background, video uploads) and usage data generated when you use the app (profile views, job interests, messages sent).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and display your professional profile to verified recruiters
• To power our AI match engine and generate career summaries
• To facilitate direct messaging between seekers and recruiters
• To process payments and manage subscriptions (recruiters)
• To improve the platform and prevent abuse

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Seeker profiles are visible to verified recruiters on the platform. We use Supabase for data storage and OpenAI for AI features — both process data under their respective privacy policies.

4. Video Content

Videos you upload are stored securely and displayed only to recruiters viewing your profile. You can delete your video at any time from your profile settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting privacy@directhire.me (or by using the in-app Delete Account option).

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated requests tied to your account.

7. Children

DirectHire is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
